Apple Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 apples, peeled and sliced thinly

Instructions:

1. Beat eggs, add oil, vanilla and dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly

2. Add apples and nuts. Mix well.

3. Spray Bundt pan with oil.

4. Pour in cake batter.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Make sure that the cake is firm on top before removing from oven. Add extra baking minutes if necessary (mine usually takes an hour.)

6. Let stand in pan 10 minutes, then turn over on cake plate. You can top with sifted powdered sugar.
